IOM provides support for implementation of language strategy priorities through Office of Language Comissioner and NGO Center for social initiatives. IOM supported the delivery of specialized VOC-UP courses for public servants through its partners - Office of Language Commissioner and NGO Center for social initiatives. Equally, the VOC-UP language courses have been piloted in 7 municipalities for 55 public servants.

IOM has been focusing on multi-perspective history teaching and development of a new website for history teachers and students. This activity is implemented by NGO New Perspective.

Through this inititative, Serbian/Albanian VocUp A2 language course as well as the first online Serbian/Albanian dictionary was developed. These language tools contribute positively not only to the reconciliation and socio-economic inclusion of all ethnic groups in Kosovo, but they also further the initiative of pooling more interpreters needed for the good governance practice of language compliance.
