CiviKos is the largest cross-sectorial civil society network in Kosovo established in 2007. CiviKos with  current membership of 285 organizations from all over Kosovo (including the northern part of Kosovo)  is working to strengthen cooperation between civil society and the public authorities through the  Council for Cooperation between Civil Society and Government and other structured cooperation  platforms which are created on ad-hoc basis such as the working groups on drafting laws and strategies.  The proactive work in enabling the civil society environment through its member organizations, CiviKos  has facilitated the development of the first and the second Government Strategy for cooperation with  civil society. 
With a membership of 272 organizations, six regional hubs which serve as local focal points of the  CiviKos, a large portion of the work has not only been dedicated to strengthen civil society organization  at the local level, increase their operational capacities of the organizations, create networks between  local CSOs with national level CSOs.
