Dikh he na Bister” Youth Event around Roma Holocaust Memorial Day in Krakow 2016-2019

Around the Roma Holocaust Memorial Day on 2 August, the Roma Genocide Remembrance Initiative as a European based project aims at raising awareness among young Europeans, civil society and decision-makers about the Roma Genocide, as well as about the mechanisms of antigypsyism in a challenging context of rising racism, hates speech and extremism in Europe. On yearly basis, AT exercises the role of National Co organizer, thus is responsible to undergo series of activities with youth participants from Kosovo who joined others from around Europe in Krakow, Poland and at the Auschwitz death camps to take part in seminars, workshops and trainings aiming to provide increased awareness about the devastating genocide of European Roma communities in the holocaust, remembrance, human rights, networking and activism.
