EULEX monitors the investigation, the prosecution and the adjudication of hate crimes, and provides recommendations to improve the effective recording of hate crimes incidents and the compilation of accurate data. In this frameworrk the Mission monitors specifically the implementation of the cooperation agreement on addressing hate crimes in Kosovo, which among others things, requires institutions to establish a hate crimes database.
