Youth Participation in Public Decision-Making Processes

The project contirbuted to implementation of the Kosovo Roadmap on Youth, Peace and Security and recommendations of the UN Kosovo Trust-building Forum in parts related to providing incentives for inter-ethnic cooperation among youth on the matters of shared concerns. The project benefited over 700 young people from diverse communities through a capacity-building training for young leaders on youth, peace and security issues, youth advocacy and municipal participatory mechanisms; facilitation of the youth-driven consultations with the Kosovo Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in relation to inclusion of Youth, Peace and Security provisions and needs of non-majority communities in the Kosovo Youth Strategy 2018-2022, as well as outreach activities promoting positive examples of interethnic cooperation.
