Marking the International Women's Day, they invite you to the joint conference "Domestic and Gender-Based Violence: Breaking the silence" on Friday, March 6th 2020, from 11:00 in the National Library in Pristina. The conference is organized by UN Women and the Embassy of France in Kosovo.
The conference is open to all participants and will be held in French, in Albanian and in English
The conference aims to highlight the importance of breaking the silence surrounding domestic violence as global phenomenon, and to empower survivors to report violence, and speak up.
On this occasion, French jurist and author, Julie Dénès will give a public testimony on her experience as an activist for women’s rights and a survivor of domestic violence.
