During the period from the 11th - 20th of December 2019, twelve returnee families in three municipalities had been delivered the keys to their newly reconstructed homes which was followed by the technical hand-over and signing of the Certificates of Completion. The technical acceptance represents the handing-over of the newly reconstructed houses to their owners which will be followed by the further support such as the Harmonized Returns Packages (HRP) consisting of food and non-food items and firewood as well as the Income Generation grants (IG) enabling the beneficiaries to ensure a sustainable livelihood for themselves and their family members. During the signature of the Certificates of Completions, the representatives of the Municipal Office for Communities and Returns (MOCR) from both respective municipalities as well as the representatives of the Ministry of Communities and Returns were present officially accepting the returnee families. Funded by the EU Office in Kosovo and co-financed by the Ministry of Communities and Returns (MCR), the EU-RRK V project is being implemented by IOM in Kosovo in total of 12 municipalities.
