UN Women handed over 40 body cameras to the Kosovo Police, to increase safety and security of both first responders and survivors through latest technologies.
Domestic Violence is increasing during the #COVID19 pandemic and the current circumstances of isolation make reporting even harder, including limitations on women’s and girls’ access to phones and helplines. Thus, in these hard times it is crucial that survivors feel safe and empowered to report cases.
We remain thankful to the Kosovo Police for the continuous cooperation through the years, and for their hard work during the pandemic.
