You certainly know Rasima from gigs. Drummer of long hair, in the band Funky Pop Project, who is otherwise studying painting. He has been playing drums for 13 years, and spent four years attending classes with the most famous Mitrovica drummer, Miško Radović. He was learning to play jazz. Thanks to the Mitrovica Jazz and Blues Festival, he played in sessions with world-renowned musicians such as Larry McCray. He loves music because, as he says, it refines. “Today, there is less and less music that is enriching. And generally, I think it's a big problem in society because it evokes the wrong emotions and builds the wrong attitudes. There is a lot of music that causes aggression, depression, suicide and the like. A decline in morale is the key. More naked bodies and less love. Eighty percent of the decline in morale was made by music. Society is not aware of how music manipulates people, that's why I just love quality music, ”he explains. His playlist is made up of flamenco tracks. So it's no surprise that his favorite musician is Paco de Lucia even though he is a guitar player, and when he scratches the surface a little more, he is not surprised that he chose flamenco. Flamenco originated in the East, blending Arabic spiritual and Spanish traditional music. And Rasim is originally from the East, more precisely from Persia. Listen to his playlist.
