We're thrilled to share an exciting opportunity for young leaders in the region! The 22nd International Youth Conference “European Values for the Future of the SEE Region” will be held from September 26th to 30th, 2024. This conference aims to bring together the most active young people from 16 countries to work towards a shared European future.
About the Conference
This year's conference will showcase over 20 years of impactful youth work, providing a platform for meaningful dialogue with and for young people. The event will focus on creating youth-inclusive decision-making processes and fostering civic participation for regional transformation.
Application Process
The conference will host 58 participants from SEE countries (North Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and Turkey) and will also welcome youth organization partners from Germany, France, and Poland as mentors.
Scholarships are available for 58 participants, covering accommodation, food, and 80% of travel expenses. Those not selected for the scholarship can still participate by covering their expenses. Detailed information will be provided via email.
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships
You are eligible if you:
Are between 18 and 35 years old at the time of the conference
Have demonstrated a commitment to positive change in the region
Show an interest in EU integration of the SEE region
Address key local and/or regional issues in your work
Are a citizen of one of the participating countries
To apply, fill out the online application form. Ensure all information, particularly email and postal addresses, are accurate. The call for participants is open until September 10th, 2024, 23:59 CET. Successful applicants will be notified shortly after the closing date.
