Women in Science

WiSciKosovo Camp, the first-ever STEAM camp for girls in Kosovo, is initiated and powered by Millennium Foundation Kosovo (MFK) and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Over the course of 10 days, WiSciKosovo Camp gathered a hundred girls from Kosovo, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania and the USA, into an educational program covering topics such as robotics and coding, drone technology, renewable energy sources, construction technologies and other classes that inspired girls to be courageous, advance in education and entrepreneurship, develop their confidence and leadership skills. This camp aimed to empower girls for leadership in their future fields and encouraged them to pursue any of the professional paths offered in STEAM.
