The new WHO interactive chatbot on Rakuten Viber aims to get accurate information on KOVID-19 in as many languages as possible.

The partnership with RakutenViber enables WHO to reach over one billion people in a variety of local languages through mobile phones.

"The goal of WHO is to reach as many people as possible with innovative digital technology and provide them with reliable health information. Information is very important today and can help save lives during this pandemic, "said Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

After subscribing to the WHO Viber Chat, users will receive notifications of the latest news and information directly from the World Health Organization. Users can also learn how to protect or test their knowledge of coronavirus through an interactive quiz that helps them dispel myths about this virus and the diseases it causes. Another goal of this partnership is to combat misinformation.

Viber has created dedicated stickers in honor of WHO World Health Day, which recognizes nurses, midwives and other healthcare professionals for their hard work in the work they do, as well as the victims who invest in fighting this pandemic.

Chatbot is freely available and launched March 31 in English, Russian and Arabic, with more than 20 other languages coming soon.
