The Mission provided insight on gender-based violence, including the proper definition of sexual assault and sexual harassment, international human rights standards, and the Kosovo legal framework. Discussions also included the impact of drugs and alcohol on sexual assault, as well as gender stereotypes and types of violence that occur within school premises and in the society.
The workshops were organized jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science, following a request from the Institute of Forensic Medicine, and included students from Gjakovë/Ðakovica, Prizren, Mitrovicë/Mitrovica, Ferizaj/Uroševac and Gjilan/Gnjilane municipalities.
