"The main purpose of my participation in the film was to stop early marriages and to stop the prejudices that people have about our community" - was Sadete 'Nana' Gashijan's message to the public. 'Nana' is an activist from Roma community and one of the protagonists of a documentary on early marriages.
Short films "Romni" and "Like a Real Woman" on early marriages, produced by UNMIK, were premiered at the City Museum in South Mitrovica. The films are being shown throughout Kosovo as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. Watch the video on the event below:
