Through the Civil Society Catalytic Fund – under which one of the eligibility criteria for project co-financing is advancement of women’s equality and empowerment, UN Habitat has awarded grants to the NGO Santa Marija for empowering female citizens within the requirements of the new regulatory Kosovo framework (ongoing in four northern municipalities); and the NGO FODEM & YCC for women and youth engagement in decision-making processes in the municipalities of Vushtrri/Vučitrn and Leposavić/q.
